Brazilian Beaches

With a coastline as large as Brazil's beach culture becomes ingrained into the national identity. Memories of summer holidays spent at the beach linger in the brain for many years after. Ranging from some of the most crowded patches of sand in the world to deserted landscapes unmarked by footprints Brazil has a lot to offer travellers seeking warm waters and lazy days on the sand.

Beaches don't really need much explaining but being a surfer I've put a few pages together for other surfers who might want a little more detailed information that the average traveller. I also couldn't overlook the bikini, a foundation stone of Brazilian beach culture.
